We arrived home last night around midnight from Marlinda's cousins Christmas party, and as most of you know, she has been working on her aunt's scrapbook for the past week to give to her today at 2:00. I came home and went to bed, she went into the art room to work on the book. When I woke up, SHE WAS STILL IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Marlinda has been up now for about 28 hours and still going!!! As I type this thing she is in that room working her ass off!!! Now that is DETERMINATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very proud of her!!!!

1. Robert and Nancy Englund ....not much explination needed here.

2. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper .... Marlinda and I both watched him growing up and ended up being one of the nicest people when we finally met him.

3. William Peterson ... One of the coolest actors on television. C.S.I Las Vegas is where you can find him, also he chased the original Hannibal Lector in "Manhunter"
4. Kevin Bacon ... So we both can go find a vacant warehouse and have a footloose dance off. Then we can sit around and talked about how Ariels dad hates her boots!!

5. Wes Craven .... because I know he has 80% of the props from a nightmare on elm street. And if I get in good with him he would pass some my way!!!!

He still sounds like FREDDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got home and flipped the tv on and the new animated "THE BATMAN" series was on. I was sitting here on the computer and the riddler came on. He spoke, and within 3 seconds I knew who it was. Mr. Robert Englund!!!!! But know matter what he does, he still sounds like FREDDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He looks like what I would look like in a riddler costume but with long hair.........go figure!!!

For other people who are not going to Sin City tonight, you need to watch one of the best horror movies of the 80's. "APRIL FOOLS DAY" This flick is one of my all time favorite horror movies and has one of the creepiest soundtracks to date.

I want everyone to take a look at these pictures. This dude made this out of nothing but scrap metal, bolts, chains, engine parts, etc. He was at DragonCon last year with it among other sculptures. I came around the corner and saw this and about passed out. Then I really passed out when he told me how much he wanted for it. But you know , for a split second I actually pondered how much I could get for my explorer :) I think it would look great in our foyer!!!!! I think it weighs about 500 pounds, its beautiful!!!!!

10 things you may or may not know about me

1. I have always been into art, even at the young age of 5 I was building serious shit out my legos.
2. I listen to heavy metal and have for most of my life. Ever since I saw KISS at the age of 9 on the DYNASTY tour at the omni in 1979.
3. Horror movies have been my passion since watching The Munsters, Dark Shadows, and the old classics like Dracula, Frakenstein, and the Wolfman when I was a little tyke!!!
4. I have been thrown out of 8 movie theaters in Georgia for dressing up like the character in the horror movie and scaring the shit out of the people in the theater. This included throwing fake blood, body parts, and what ever else I could get my hands on.
5. I saw A Nightmare on Elm Street in the theatre in 1984 when I was 14 years old.
I remember destinctly standing on the chair and cheering Fred on while others ducked their heads and hid. And for those that know me, know what an effect it had on my life.
6. I have slit my wrist in front of the Christian Coalition at Clayton State College because they would not leave me alone, and when I did one of the members vomited right in front of me. Even though it was fake blood and a foam latex appliance, it was real enough to do the trick!!! And guess what, I still graduated from there with a degree in art!!!
7. I threw a fake head out in the middle of the expressway at 2 am in the morning in downtown Atlanta and caused a few bangups!!!
8. I have played bass guitar in two different bands over the years and the last show I played live we opened for the 80's band W.A.S.P
9. I have played softball for over 15 years with pretty much the same group of friends I grew up with.
10. In all the years Marlinda and I have been married people have always thought it was I that came up with the idea of getting married on halloween, it was hers.
